Nepali Congress decides to continue boycotting Constitutional Assembly session

Nepal's great antagonism party Nepali Congress (NC) definite Sunday to
continue boycotting the parliamentary meeting of the Constitutional
Assembly (CA) until Prime Minister Prachanda fulfills his obligation
towards its demands.
The NC legislators held a meeting on Sunday and made the result to
boycott the CA sessions until Prachanda himself furnishes satisfactory
clarifications on the progress on implementation of its demands,
before the CA, reported local web site eKantipur.com.
The NC lawmakers had boycotted the parliamentary session on Thursday as well.
Prime Minister Prachanda had expressed his obligation, before the CA,
on Nov. 11 to meet all the nine-point demands put forth by the NC.
The NC demands include return of the properties confiscated during the
armed conflict, compensation to the rightful owners if property not
returned by mid-December, dissolution of the paramilitary construction
of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) youth wing Young Communist
Alliance, among others.
