At least nine persons were hurt Saturday in an explosion happened at a
market in southern Moscow, Russian news agencies stated.
The incident, which happened on Saturday afternoon in a street market
near the Prazhskaya metro station, injured nine people, involving a
youngster, RIA Novosti cited a police source as saying.
The draught was caused by an unknown explosive device, the source
said, adding that the remains of the explosive device have been
already found.
Nevertheless, a spokesman for the Emergency Situations Ministry said
the explosion was caused by fireworks that went off accidentally.
According to a Moscow police spokesperson, people have been evacuated
from the market and police have inspected the trade for other possible
eruptive devices.
